Have you ever wanted to change the name of a tag or source later? You can change the name of tags and sources which have been set to multiple ideas.

Items whose source name is a URL cannot be renamed. The reason is that the source name is a shortened domain-only string from the URL set for the item. Each complete URL set to an individual idea can be edited.

Synchronization with iCloud after renaming is often immediate.

However, if you have a large number of items that contain the tag/source to be renamed, iCloud synchronization may take some time. Please check the sync status in the Manual tab before leaving the app.

If you close the app or lock the screen before the synchronization is completely finished, the result of the rename will not be synchronized on the other device.

Open the Tag or Source tab and select a tag or source which you want to rename. Click the 3-dot icon in the list view of ideas.

Click “Rename”.

Edit the name of tag or source and click “Rename” to save it. Edited tag can be cancelled by clicking the “Cancel” button.
